Zvārde shooting range and former Soviet military base "Lapsas"
Infrastructure
Prügila teenindusbaas asub Striķu mõisast umbes 2 kilomeetrit ida pool, Saldus-Auce maanteel. Saldusest lõuna pool asub endine nõukogude sõjaväe lennunduse sihtmärgipolk (sõjaväeosa nr 15439) Zvārde. Lennuvälja territooriumil asuvad mitmed vaatamisväärsused - Zvārde ja Ķerkliņi kirikute varemed, Rīteļi kalmistu varemed, lennuvälja vaatluspost, nn ohvitseride kurgan ja endine lennuvälja personalibaas ja lasketiir "Lapsas".
Zvārde õhulasketiirus oli vaja umbes ühe kompanii suurust üksust õhulasketiiru teenindamiseks - sihtmärkide paigaldamiseks, kahjustuste parandamiseks, õhulasketiiru valvamiseks ja õhulendude koordineerimiseks. See asus kuni Teise maailmasõjani "Lapsas" nimelise maja territooriumil. Koos lennuvälja ehitamisega rajati kasarmud, transpordihooned, lennujuhtimistorn ja lasketiiruväljak väljaõppejõudude jaoks.
Pärast Läti taasiseseisvumist tegutses siin Zvārde kaitseväe väljaõppekeskus, kuid alates 2007. aastast on ala valla omandis ja renditud mitmetele jahikollektiividele. Endistes kasarmutes asub Zvārde valla ajalugu käsitlev näitus.
