In the parish of Trikātas - Strenču sila, with an area of about 33 ha, there are larger and smaller deepened rectangular areas with rampart edges. They were created in 1944, at the end of World War II, by soldiers of the German army. In the forest, before the retreat, the light and heavy artillery of the German army was located - cannons, tanks, motorcycles, etc., creating a range.

In nature and on LIDAR maps, about 100 quadrangular pits dug in straight rows with small ramparts and an exit are visible.

As you walk along the Väči striga, you can see the rectangular squares that have been created and are now overgrown with trees on both sides of the striga. The width and length of the largest structure is about 10x24 meters, while the smallest one is 10x12 meters.

The old residents of Trika still remember that in 1944, while driving to Strenči, they saw German soldiers, tanks, and motorcycles in the forest. Some of the structures have been driven over by forestry machinery.
