Located on the gentle slope of the left bank of the Daugava River (Ķegums HPP), east of the village of Linde. Information about the Linde manor has been preserved since the 13th century, when it belonged to the Linde family. In 1542, the manor was purchased by Johann von Plettenberg. The gates of the Linde manor were built in 1767 – at the time when the 7.4 ha Linde park was created. After the death of Johann von Plettenberg, the manor was inherited by his daughter Sophie Elizabeth, who became Countess Sophie von Mengden after marriage. In 1844, the manor was bought by the governor of Courland, Paul von Hahn. In 1866, the manor house was rebuilt, adding a second floor. The Hahn family owned the manor until the Latvian agrarian reform. The manor house was bombed during the First World War. It was not restored, but the damaged building was sold off as construction materials. Today, the gates of Linde Manor, renovated in 2017, the ruins of the buildings and the impressive Linde Park with terraces and linden plantations can be seen. 1.1 km south of the Linde Manor gates is the Baron Haan family cemetery (Jede cemetery), which contains the graves of soldiers from the First World War.
