A collection of trophies from the forcing battles
Muziejus
Founded in 2006 by Aivars Kluš. Located in "Kamenes", Kalsnava parish.
On August 10, 1944, the 341st Guards Rifle Regiment of the Soviet Army, including the 130th Latvian Rifle Corps, crossed the Aiviekste river.
On August 2 - 6, 1944, they attacked in the direction of Medņi - Antuži and reached the left bank of Aiviekste. On August 7 and 8, 1944, the 130th Latvian rifle units successfully participated in the attack of the Soviet 22nd Army on Krustpilij. After the capture of Krustpils, the subunits of the 130th Corps forced Aivieksti on August 10 and created a bridgehead on the right bank of the river. Next followed the battles near Vietalva, which lasted from August 17 to 24 and ended with the capture of Vietalva.
The amount of trophies is large - shells, shells, grenades, bayonets, ammunition boxes, cans, barrels, household items.
There are also exhibits from other battlefields and the First World War.
