World War II museum and exposition in Aglona Museum

The core of the museum is the weapons of the 2nd world war conflict. Also on display are uniforms, ammunition, household items, aircraft wreckage, etc. The most precious and unique is the feldpost (field) letter correspondence between Oberlieutenant August and his beloved Marta during the five years of the war. Dialogue in letters between two people who love each other with a happy ending. In the background you can see the chronicle of those times. The expedition is not politicized, but divides the two warring parties equally. There is neither good nor bad here, maybe that's why it's easy to watch and visitors like it.
