The iron bridge over the Bērze River is a remnant of the former tank training ground in Gardenē (Dobele -2). The bridge is noteworthy because it is made of iron and was intended for crossing the Bērze River for training purposes with tanks. The bridge is of unusual construction and relatively well-preserved military significance. Today, the bridge does not lead anywhere, because there are separate country houses on the other side of the Bērze River; during the operation of the training ground until 1992, the bridge was one of the sections of the tank track for training purposes. The iron bridge was installed in the late 1980s, when the wooden bridge collapsed.
