In the Tilžė forest, accessible by forest roads (there are signs and stands).

1915–1918. 3 bunkers of the defensive line of the 88th division of the German 8th army fought against the Russian army on this front. A bunker is a military shelter designed to protect soldiers from powerful artillery, machine gun and rifle fire. All three bunkers were built according to a standard design, the only difference being the size of the bunkers. They were built from the strongest building material, concrete and reinforcement, and in order to achieve the best possible camouflage, they were adapted to the terrain, dug into hills or made part of a wider trench system.
