 P. Mažylio g. 24, Kupiškis, Lithuania
156

Survived in the town of Kupiškis.

In 1936, the largest interwar barracks complex in Lithuania was completed in Kupiškis. The barracks complex, built in the interwar modernist architectural style, consisted of 12 buildings. After the barracks complex was built, the 4th Infantry Regiment Battalion and the 2nd Battery of the 1st Artillery Regiment were transferred to the Kupiškis barracks.

Today, in Kupiškis, not only the interwar barracks buildings have survived, which are now adapted for civilian functions, but also a fragment of the regiment's shooting range has survived - a massive concrete wall. It is assumed that this is a shooting stand of the shooting range, intended for catching bullets. Next to the stand, the regiment's soldiers formed two protective ramparts of the shooting range. A sculpture of an interwar Lithuanian soldier-infantryman is placed on the upper edge of the concrete wall.
