 Medumu pagasts, Augšdaugavas novads, Latvia

It is located on the side of the gravel road leading from Krščeva to Biruliškis, on the northern side of the road, in the forest. A good landmark is a graveled stopping place.

To illustrate the logistical and supply challenges of World War I, it was said that a soldier would consume as much resources (food, water, ammunition, and other materials) as he weighed himself in a day. During intense battles and when fully supplied, this was indeed close to the truth. To provide reserves for resources and protect them from enemy fire and the external environment, supply bunkers were built between the first and reserve lines. The history of the specific bunker is unknown, but it is likely that it served the functions of such a supply bunker.

Today, the bunker is freely accessible. It consists of one room, which is sometimes flooded. The ceiling has partially preserved metal vaults. The bunker has one main entrance for personnel and a cargo slide opening on the side.
