Located in front of the chapel at the Old Cemetery in Lubāna.

The fire altar made of granite is visible.

The Holy Fire Altar was opened on November 18, 1933 in memory of the Lubāni people who fell in the War of Independence, whose graves are unknown or are located abroad.

Near the monument is the Lubāna Tourism and Cultural Heritage Center, where you can see a permanent exhibition about the National Resistance Movement activist, poet Bronislava Martuževa, politician Hugo Celmiņš, the first commander-in-chief of the Latvian Army Oskars Kalpaks, etc.
