The Lätimetsa or Käntu bunker was one of the hideouts of the leadership of the Armed Struggle Union in Pärnu County. After the destruction of the RVL Põrgupõhja headquarters bunker, a new bunker was built in the Käntu swamp area between the villages of Läti and Kastja. The Armed Struggle Union was one of the largest post-war Estonian forest brotherhood organizations, the aim of which was to coordinate armed resistance to the Soviet occupation. During the security operation, there was an exchange of fire near the bunker and the organization suffered losses, but some forest brothers escaped. Today, the location of the bunker can be traced in the landscape by ramparts, depressions and defensive positions.
