Monument to the partisans who died in the Kolūpėnai and Vaineikiai forests
Memorial site

The monument was erected in the forests of Kūlupėnai and Vaineikiai on April 6, 1953 in memory of the partisans of the last Žemaitiai district Kardas (from the beginning of 1953 – Šatrija) detachment of the Vizbutas platoon, the platoon commander Stasis Jonauskas, the partisans Antanas Gliožerys, Antanas Bružas, Anicetas Kaunas and Vytautas Vaičekauskas. The monument was erected in 1999 in Pušyno St., Kūlupėnai village, Kūlupėnai forest, on plot 13 of block 85 of Vaineikiai forest district. The initiator and foreman of the construction was Juozapas Antanas Viluckas.
