The interactive exhibition opened in the spring of 2021 in the former military fort of the Lithuanian Maritime Museum reveals and represents the first political, cultural and economic steps of Lithuania towards the Baltic Sea, in other words, it shows the connection of the Lithuanian nation with the sea. The exhibition halls are rich in interactivity, introducing the topic, engaging and encouraging the study of history through attractive means. One of the parts of the exhibition presents the history of the only interwar Lithuanian warship, the ship "Prezidentas Smetona", presents a model of the ship and its flag, drawings, photographs, banners and maps, sailors' uniforms, and tells the story of the daily life of war sailors on shore and at sea.
