In the old cemetery of Jakštaičiai village, Kretinga district.

A cross marks the grave of Adomas Skersys-Ąžuolas, a partisan of the Paliomskis detachment of the Tautvaišas company of the Samogitian "Kardas" detachment, who was secretly buried in the old cemetery of the village of Jakštaičiai, in memory of those who died in the fight for freedom.

Partisan A. Skersis-Ažuolas died on March 14, 1947, in a clash with MKVD/MGB forces in the village of Daukščiai and was secretly buried in the old, defunct cemetery of the village of Jakštaičiai. On the initiative of freedom fighter Jadvyga Malūkaitė-Petkevičienė, a Lithuanian soldier's cross was erected in 2004 to commemorate the partisan A. Skersis.
