In the Kretinga district, turn off road 2308 onto Mokyklos Street and approach the forest near Žibininkai.

In Western Lithuania, in the then Palanga parish, since 1947, the Narimantas (Pusis) company of the Lithuanian Freedom Movement's Samogitian District Sword Squad operated, led by Maj. Juozas Ožeraitis and consisting of men from these areas. The partisans of the Narimantas company set up a bunker in the Alsėdžiai forests, which, after betrayal, was surrounded on February 7, 1949 by soldiers of the 24th Rifle Regiment of the MGB Internal Troops and a unit of Palanga parish riot police. When the partisans unsuccessfully tried to break through the encirclement, 5 partisans were killed.

On September 18, 2009, on the Vilimas Hill in the Žibininkai Forest, the doors of the reconstructed partisan bunker were ceremonially opened. Here, at the initiative of the former chairman of the Palanga Union of Deportees and Political Prisoners, Petras Gabrėnas, and with the care of the owner of the HBH Juozos beer brewery, Rada Matulevičienė, with the help of the Kretinga Forest Enterprise, the former bunker of the Narimantas Company of the Karda partisan detachment was authentically rebuilt behind a memorial stone to the partisans, and a monument was erected in their memory.
