There are two markers at the mass grave in the Rae forest in the village of Reiu. The memorial was erected in 1967, the gravestone after the re-establishment of the Republic of Estonia. The pink granite memorial has two plaques with the text: “HERE MURDERED / BY FAŠISTS / IN THE YEARS 1941-1944 / SEVEN SEVEN SOVIET CITIZENS” and “HERE / VICTIMS / FAŠIZMA / IN 1941-1944 GG. / SEVEN SEVEN / SOVIET CITIZENS”.
